Leon has been a nerd since childhood, preferring to stay in and read rather then go outside and play with the other kids in the area. He was raised by his grandfather, and he still remains very close to his only know relative. Because he was raised by an older man, Leon spent most of his time out helping his grandfather in the garden around their house instead of out playing sports. As he grew older, Leon only came to love nature more and more, it becoming his passion in life. He struggled through college on scholarships and odd jobs he'd do around the town for money, taking his own way through. He didn't want to have to put out his elderly grandfather, the man already having a few medical issues. After four years, he finally got his degree in botany, the study of plants. While most find it boring, Leon loved to be able to study beautiful plants, finding everything from bark to leaves to be works of art. He spends most of his time traveling around the world so study plants in remote locations. For the most part, it's lonely work with just his camera and a journal to write down his discoveries, but he never fails to mail off a letter to his grandfather every week, telling of how he's doing and about the various native tribes he usually will stay with. When Leon does come back home, he'll stay for weeks at a time, though it's almost always spent tending to his grandfather's garden and planting new things that he's brought back from his adventures.

Personality: Leon is a very open guy, always able to have conversations with people. He can get shy is a person comes on strong to him in a flirty way, but he can be very slow to understand if people are flirting. Unless it's toward his knowledge of plants, he is very clueless. While he's clueless, his open and honest nature allows him to learn quickly, which is helpful if you spend a lot of time with remote tribes.
